Worst customer service experience

Maui Condo and Home customer service was the worst experience,… unresponsive, unprofessional, and unsympathetic,.. gives the company and the Island a bad reputation. Worst experience ever that makes you not to go back and have a vacation in Maui.

Property is older and could do with a little update but served it's purpose for us. It said it was beach front but it is actually across the road from the beach which was a little disappointing. The owner left great instructions for shopping and dining. We had a good time.

Location was good. Tub could use some cleaning/repair - maybe new caulking. Looks mildewy around the edges. Yuck! Dryer didn’t work but we didn’t know it until our clothes were washed. So we had to go to the laundromat. Wrecked half a day for us dealing with laundry. They offered us $50 for the inconvenience though. Should have asked for more! Also, we were locked out when we arrived. They had emailed us an incorrect code. Not fun when you’re ready to get settled in and have to call and wait for a call back to gain entrance. They also forgot to leave us any paper towels so we had to ask for some and they brought some.

It would have been appreciated if the air conditioning had been turned on prior to our arrival. The sofa bed in the living room was extremely difficult to pull out and put back in, so bear that in mind for elderly visitors or those with bad knees, etc. The biggest frustration we faced was that the blinds intended to cover the sliding glass doors which are in the living room are seriously in need of replacement. My husband is very concerned with privacy and did not feel comfortable here as the blinds do not properly close and leave giant breaks of no privacy. Darkness in the living room is impossible as a result. I did appreciate the space of the one-bedroom apartment and the vaulted ceilings. The dishes provided were sparse and there wasn’t any cooking oil, hot sauce, etc, so be sure to buy such necessities if you intend to cook. Overall it wasn’t a horrible stay but the blinds need immediate replacement and some finishing touches on amenities and essentials would go a long way.

Unfortunately, we manage multiple units at Kihei Bay Vista and none of our recent reservations have Notes regarding the issues you mentioned above. You also left an Anonymous review so we are unable to track down your reservation and are therefore unable to rectify the issues you stated regarding your unit. If you would kindly reply here or email us separately what unit you stayed in, we would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss these concerns with the owner and improve the experience of future guests.
