Typical main land Europe hotel. No lift (room 3 stairs up) and small (set in attic). No tea/ coffee making facility and poor wifi. The published "parking" was in a garage below the hotel. Very very awkward to park and very little room to get out of the parked car.

One night stay
Posted 24 Sep 2019 on HotelsGreat place for a one night stay before a cruise, 5 minutes walk from the station. The rooms are a bit dated but do the job. Breakfast was ok.

First trip to Kiel
Posted 30 Jun 2018
Pros: The location is great. Nice little bar area which we used for a couple hours.
Cons: No improvements needed
Location: 10 minute walk to the Bahnhof. A bit longer walk to Alt Stadt, but definitely walkable.
Nice breakfast. The room was large, very comfortable beds. Our room had a balcony which we didn’t use due to the weather.

One night near town centre
Posted 22 May 2017All staff were friendly and helpful (and spoke English). The room was a very good size with a nice balcony. The buffet breakfast was good value with a good choice including hot food (eggs / sausages and bacon) as well as all the normal cold selections. There was also a nice outdoors area where you could relax. Overall the hotel was good value and it is located close to the town centre.
The bathroom was a little small with only a shower and no bath.

Keeping an eye on Kiel.
Posted 19 Jun 2016 on HotelsWe received a very warm welcome. We loved our room which was absolutely enormous and had a balcony so we could keep an eye on all the trains, boats and traffic on the bridge. The breakfast buffet was good, although they were a bit slow with replenishing it when it ran out. The WiFi connection was poor. The beds were comfortable.
