One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Wonderful knowledgeable staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Made very welcome. Lovely dinner and the room was just perfect

The Most Exceptional Hotel Experience
Posted 22 Jan 2024 on HotelsI can't express how wonderful our stay was here. The hotel goes above and beyond in every instance. It's an absolutely beautiful building in a picturesque part of the country. The staff were extremely polite and gave a top notch service throughout the entire stay. The food, both dinner and breakfast ,was delicious and high quality. We were given a free room upgrade and placed in accomodation that was beyond expectation. The bedroom and bathroom were huge! The room was pure comfort and very exquisitely decorated. There was a special turn down service as well, so that when we returned to the room, the bed was prepared for us to climb into, cups were laid out with chamomile tea bags at the ready, slippers were by the bed, and soft radio music was playing through the TV. I've never experienced anything quite like this before and was just overwhelmingly happy with the detail of service. We also were able to use the conference room facilities during our stay and were provided with everything we needed. Checking in and out was a smooth experience. I would highly recommend the venue. It has many beautiful rooms, from the bar and restaurant spaces, to the library. Truly an enjoyable stay that I'll remember for a long time to come!

Revisiting for our wedding anniversary, our favourite hotel and continues to be so. Lovely staff, wonderful surrounding area (nice to go for a walk). Dinner in the restaurant was brilliant & lunch in the spa also.
