Liked the breakfast provided with a cheese omelet. Very friendly proprietor. This motel is in a quiet area of town. This is no longer a Rodeway Inn--it is called the Royal Inn.

Not very happy. Expected one type of hotel got something else. Room is extremely crampped with to much funiture in the room for the size. It was very depressing.

Check in was exhausting as the clerk spoke limited english. The whole building was permeated with the odors of onion and curry. The door to the room appeared to be forced at one time. 3 drawer dresser was completely missing a drawer and of the 2 remaining drawers, only one drawer had a handle. The bath tub drain would not close for a bath. Overall i would not recommend this establishment to anyone

The hotel was not clean. The carpet was torn. The toilet ran continuously. The sofa was broken and dirty. The pillow cases had stains. The bed was comfortable. The continental was not next to nothing. Nothing fresh.

The water running out of my faucets in the sink and the morning after our first night was the color of coffee. Same with the water in the toilet. When I asked the clerk at the front desk for another room, I was told all the rooms had the same problem and it was a city problem, not a hotel problem. Then was told to - “just run the water and it will clear up.” 1/2 hour later the water wasn’t running clear and it left behind a nice layer is sediment. When I reported the clerk’s solution didn’t work and asked for another room, my request was again refused. Finally decided to go to another hotel for the rest of our stay, then had to argue about a refund for the next two nights because we didn’t cancel within 24 hours of staying there. We pointed out we planned to stay there, but we couldn’t shower or brush our teeth in the room provided and the establishment refused to give us another room. Again we were told the water was a city problem, not his. Btw, when I showed pictures to other patrons I passed in the hall, they told me their water looked nothing like what was coming out of my faucets. Also there were rooms listed on the website as available for that night, so we could have been given another room.

Do Not Stay Here

Do Not stay here!! Bed was uncomfortable, towels were dingy, shower curtain was stained, rooms smelled musty. Carpet was torn and dirty. Outlets were overloaded. Things in the room were broken (I.e. hairdryer), hot tub has been out of order for months (but no sign), free breakfast was almost non existent.

Disappointed in the state of the hotel. Missing drawer knobs, stuck faucet handles, stiff beds, 15 channels on the tv, warped carpet
