the last time we stayed here it was the Roxburgh hotel. What a wonderful surprise we had to find the old castle in all its glory lovingly restored . Then there is the completely modern rooms, dining ,spa and pool. Cleverly blended to the old castle. All very tastefully decorated and appointed. The staff, across all levels were exceptional. Engaging to talk with and all had a nice manner to the. A huge asset. we are actually staying at their sister hotel in January 2025 for a ski trip to Hochgurgyl. if its the same caliber as The Schloss Roxburgh we will be delighted.

Absolutely stunning hotel, in a fabulous setting with wonderful staff and a wonderful spa, This was my first stay at this hotel. We will definitely be coming back .

Fantastic stay at this brilliant hotel. Excellent service from start to end of stay. The spa facilities and relaxation room were the stand out for us. Also enjoyed the whisky library with knowledgeable and engaging staff. Highly recommend.

The building, grounds and reception including reception staff were all excellent. The outdoor pool was cold on our first day. The spa treatments were disappointing. The staff were inexperienced and the treatments cut short. On the 2nd day although we arrived before 11, the staff were reluctant to let us use the facilities. The lockers are an inadequacy size and there are no private changing rooms. The changing facilities are very small and if more than 4 people using them at the same time there is no room. The double bed was comfortable but the other single beds were not. The breakfast was very good but the dinner less so. We asked waiter if the lemon sole would be de-boned. He advised only small bones but no attempt had been made to remove any bones - didn't enjoy Just a few little tweaks would make ut a 5 star stay.

Beautiful Hotel in beautiful setting

Beautiful dog friendly hotel with lovely walks around the golf course. Spa experience was lovely as well. Staff were very attentive & friendly. However the dining experience in Charlie’s for dinner was average, food was amazing but service was poor. We finished our mains & waited over 30 minutes to have plates cleared. We asked for our bill & to have our plates cleared. Staff were lovely but maybe not enough people for the number of diners. I do think 12.5% service charge on every bill is excessive. I will always pay a tip when the service is worth it. Would recommend the hotel though.
