Very clean but air conditioner is quite old and loud

Best breakfast in Japan

My son said it was the best hotel breakfast he has had in Japan. He even got up early for it. Of course they had him at hamburgers, but there was also eggs Benedict and Japanese specialties like dumplings with shrimp and wheat noodles. And some unusual items like caprese salad. The Western beds were the right height and very comfortable. The room was spotless. Parking is under the hotel and easy to find.

Thank you for staying with us and writing a review in Expedia. The Kashihara offers delicious buffet breakfast at the café and restaurant Amakashi. There is an abundant choice of dishes with locally grown vegetables for a healthy, wholesome meal. You can also find Western and Japanese-style dishes at the buffet, for your convenience. Moreover, when the weather allows, it is possible to eat outside at the terrace seats and enjoy the fresh air!We apologize for the delay in response. We look forward to welcoming you back to our hotel when you return to Nara/Japan.

The hotel is within a short walk if the train station, and easy to find. The staff were friendly and helpful with some speaking English. Given the overall appearance of the hotel, I was surprised that my room seemed older than the rest of the facilities I saw, but it was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was more expensive than I wanted to venture, so I don't have any experience with its quality.

Charming little hotel!

The decor was a bit dated, but that just added to the charm of the hotel. The staff was very friendly! Overall the stay was quite pleasant and enjoyable. Very close to the station and convenient to the local attractions. Recommended!
