Comfortable clean room, nice breakfast provided. Enjoyed eating at the restaurant too.

Not like the pics
Posted 1 Sep 2021 on HotelsI was a little disappointed overall. The rooms are very outdated, nothing like the pictures. The lights are very dim, therefore the rooms are super dark. The couch bed was the most uncomfortable I've ever tried. Breakfast wasn't great either. Pool was huge, probably the only plus. I also have to mention the hotel is in the middle of no where. There were abandoned factories and land around. So forget about going for a walk. To top it, when we were checking out, the housekeeper insisted we opened one of the water bottles in the fridge even though we brought our own water bottles, which was a different brand than what they use at the hotel. Then when I showed the extra I had in my purse to show the different brand, they said they were talking about mineral water bottle that was opened then closed, therefore it was missing bubbles. Like what? Probably won't be back.

Hope you are doing good. First of all we are really sorry for your bad experience at our hotel. The rooms are same as in pictures but it depends on lighting and which room you were in. Secondly, you must see in google maps the location when you make the reservation of any hotel just to make sure if there is any other place to go. Our housekeeping are really kind and respectful. Again we are sorry for your experience here and we are looking forward from you to be our guests again and why not to have better experience.

I didn’t like that they would issue only one key to my wife and I. We sometimes do different things at different times. Very frustrating.

Hello,
In our hotel a room must have only one key and it works in general like that. You could give the key to the receptionist and it would be easy to coordinate with your wife. The reason why we are giving one key is that we protect the environment by saving the electricity.

I could not find the Hotel, not as shown on Expedia map.
I drove up and down, up and down. Asked people etc.
Never got to the hotel, waist of time. Had to book another hotel on the main road which there are plenty. If you do not know Albania from the airport and need a hotel there are plenty to be found.

We have done our best to provide digital instructions on how to get to our hotel and would have gladly picked you up for free with our shuttle service had we known your distress.
We advice to contact us in the future once at the airport or on the way if you have difficulty to find us.
Also, one correction, if I may: hotels from the airport are some that can be found--though none any easier through Google map--but resorts with our outdoor and indoor pool, SPA, beergarden services, tours of the area (industrial and cultural) are NONE.
We would love the opportunity for you to experience Albanian hospitality the way we provide it for our guests.

Nice hotel but rude staff.
Posted 20 Jul 2019 on HotelsLovely hotel with a great spa, the rooms were very pleasant with AC. Location was a bit out but we knew that when booking and were happy because there was a large pool (which unfortunately closes at 6pm each day). Unfortunately the stay was ruined by the rudeness and poor service of the staff. On more than one occasion when we asked for a menu we had to wait for 10 minutes and then had to approach the staff members again to order as they seemed to ignore us. Staff were very abrupt to us and often responded with ‘what?!’ when asked a question. I understand English is not their first language but there is a difference between a lack of understanding and just pure rudeness. We never once felt welcomed especially in the restaurant / bar. feel the staff are not happy in their job and take it out on the customers. Was such a disappointing stay.

Te Stela is a lovely relaxing hotel with lots of amenities for families. It has supervised parking, 2 pools and helpful staff. The huge restaurant next door serves excellent Albanian food very cheaply, along with the beer produced by Te Stela brewery. The location is not very inviting between warehouses but access is easy for travelling to the coast and there are direct buses to the centre from QTS mall next door. We had a really restful break there between driving and sightseeing.
