Beautiful Hotel and the family who are managing the property are very nice and friendly.
The area around the pool is so beautiful and they have an access to a very nice beach.

We chose this Hotel because of the photos showing the waterside sun loungers and easy access to the crystal clear sea. The hotel itself does have access to the waterside loungers however you have to walk down a gravely path then steps for about ten minutes.
Basically the hotel shares the waterside (sea) access and loungers with another hotel / club. Club Antiphellos does not have it's own restaurant or breakfast facilities - you have to walk down the path to the other hotel by the sea and pay extra for the buffet breakfast. The buffet breakfast is reasonable, however we did have to ask for plates, bowls, yogurt, and croissants on two days running. If you want fresh orange juice or an omelette this comes at an additional cost too on top of the breakfast you have already paid for!
We had a garden room close to the lovely swimming pool which was a little cramped for 2 adults and 3 kids. The room was ok but had not been updated or maintained for quite some time, interesting electrics, paint flaking etc.
The hotel in general was in general in my opinion in a fairly poor state of repair, electric wires and random lights (not working) hanging from the trees, an old BBQ area in a state of disrepair, no shower head or attachment in the shower by the pool....
This hotel is about a ten minute drive from Kas town centre.

Avoid - Read on!
Posted 7 Nov 2015 on HotelsRunning late we phoned four times to make sure our room was ok, no answer! On arrival, the hotel was dark, no lights, but open, someone was there, as there was fresh cigarette ash was on the front desk. With our torch we made our way past the motorbikes in the foyer to find a group of men drinking tea out the back. They phoned the owner, who advised the price was now 200 euros for the night, a short negotiation and we got him to honour the Hotels prices but agreed to sort it in the morning. When asked to look at our room, the guys out the back had no idea and could not find a room for us. We were the only guests at the hotel! For the first time ever, I left a pre-paid room unused, and went into town and found a nice waterfront hotel.

Quiet hotel, just out of town centre.
Posted 20 Aug 2014Hotel is a few km out of town, making it nice and quiet. Cheap local bus runs every 30 mins to Kas, until 12:30 pm. Hotel is more like a complex with 5 pools, bar and small apartments. Our room was one of the newer built apartments, with AC, balcony and bathroom, which was spotless. Breakfast was from 8 til 11, and was a fine spread of fruit, olives, cheese, bread and so on. 5 min walk down to private "beach" which was in fact a platform over the sea, with loungers, bar, shower and sea access. Whole area was great for snorkeling , we saw turtles on three occasions, including in the sea by the hotel. If you need it wifi seemed to work in most areas of complex, but couldn't confirm this is the case in each room.

Overlooking the ocean, but a long way from town

Pros: Good family business, friendly, and helpful.
Cons: The shower needs to be separate, not on top of the WC.
Location: On a peninsular 10 minutes drive from Kas with it's restaurants, shops, and activities.
A car is essential as the hotel is 10 minute drive from the nearest restaurant, however the hotel does provide all meals and has two pools. The beach is 150 steps down, but claims to be "aquarium" clear.
