Even with some small confusion about which rooms we reserved, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hospitality and humor of the staff and beauty and comfort of the facilities!

The terms of the hotel are not properly stated at booking. The charges are based on per head rather than per room: a two bed room offered at booking is charged double at check in due to being two people, something that is not mentioned when booking. Each person is charged $40 per day for entering the park where the property exists and this is not mentioned in the booking. The hotel attendants didn’t do a good job answering questions/addressing these concerns. Management needs to edit their booking so it states that the hotel charges per head rather than hotel room and address the park fees so guests know ahead of time. Rather than this, the hotel itself was a good experience and the attendants made sure we got tour guides into the park to see animals.

Rooms very nice and with good equipment
Employes fantastic people very nice inded
Comum areas poor, without confort
with exception of swiming pools zones and bar
Many power cuts, poor internet and working only in public zones.
Potencial to be a great resort, but medium quality at this time

Amazing views in a beautiful setting.
Posted 9 Nov 2018 on Hotelsthis is our second visit in two years. We brought 4 friends this time and they were amazed by the accommodations and view. The pool and poolside bar are lovely (including the bartender, Toby). We highly recommend the spa and range of massages offered.
Two notes: First, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included...remember this when considering the room rate.
Second, there is a charge to enter the national park in which the lodge is located...$50 US PER PERSON for non-citizens, a vehicle fee, and a small charge for citizens.
Third, although we did not do it, there is a "safari" option available for only $20 for a van full of guests if you use your own vehicle and driver. You stay within the park and take some backroads with the guide riding along with you directing and spotting.

I got an email that they transferred my booking to Paraa lodge as Chobe lodge was full. If Chobe lodge is full why did Expedia accept my booking in the first place. Later I found out that the fool Kanye West arrived in Chobe lodge which is probably the reason for the transfer. I booked in Chobe lodge as Paraa lodge is getting old and the food is lousy.

I didn't book this lodge. I booked the Chobe lodge in Botswana. Expedia screwed up and booked the wrong one. That mistake almost cost me this vacation. I was lucky that they had a room available that I had to pay for and wait for Expedia to agree to reimburse me for the money I paid them.

it is such a beautiful place
Posted 26 Jul 2018 on OrbitzThe swimming pool was out of this world, 3 spacious pools and very very clean. The food was good and the staff was great to help us.
Our only problem was the land ride and boat ride for the safari to see the animals. We had a bad driver and he hit a bump really fast and caused one of our people to hit the roof of the vehicle and cut her face in 2 places.
We had to take her to the hospital to get stitches and never got to go on the safari. If y oui u go out early in the morning be sure and wear a coat or take a blanket because it is very very cold. The hotel gave us our money back with no problem.
I would return because it is such an amazing place. It is nicer than Paraa Lodge by far. Paraa Lodge is the best place if you are going on the safari to see the animals.

It was my third time staying at Chobe and it was again nice stay. Friendly staff, especially housekeepers were very professional.
I also relaxed at the tent and enjoyed watching nature from the balcony, restaurants, and swimming pools. We could watch hippos from the restaurant at dinner. Also we have to be careful because some animals such as baboons and Savanna monkeys visited the balcony, a baboon even took my snacks and he seemed to know we have something to eat.
One thing I regret was there were a conference and the speakers were too loud and disturb the peaceful and quiet atmosphere completely.

Veel waarde voor een te hoge prijs
