Very sharp, professional, helpful and friendly staff. I visited Karlovy Vary more than 10 times in the last decade and stayed in the other six hotels in the city. I can say for sure that hotel Imperial has the best accommodations among them.

Everything about this hotel is perfect. We were guests four years ago and so to come back has been a great privilege.

Beautiful building in nice surroundings with lovely views over the valley. The reception staff were efficient and helpful. We ate in all three restaurants during our stay. The food was OK and fairly typical of the area but beware of extras! We were charged 5 euros for tap water, which frankly, is taking the p***. Also, 20 euro/night for parking a car on top of the room price seems excessive given that the hotel isn't in the centre of town.

The hotel is dated, needs updates but it has its own charm so many will like it as it is a traditional old style building All in all I was very disappointed Rooms are large but cold at night we had 2 rooms booked we could not sleep at night due to been very cold complained to the front desk and they couldn't do anything so waiting till the morning and had a lengthy chat with the manager( Blanka) who in the end managed to switch the heating on which helped and offered a free spa treatment which I think was good customer service The overall feel was not great alot of staff don't speak English so it is difficult to communicate, I felt most staff other then front desk need a lot of customers service training as they are very rude and abrupt and don't have any training to deal with customers Even at the desk when we checked in the lady on reception said people in this region are different and can be rude !! I will not stay in this hotel again to sum up things I moved to another hotel in town and it is fabulous
