Wonderful experience for a weekend

I took my elderly parents for a weekend getaway to enjoy the ocean and relax by the beach. It was a wonderful experience for all of us especially the hotel staff was very friendly and the hotels service overall was very nice. The food was very good although There might be some more options that are a little more healthy can be added. And the bathrooms could have been a little more clean and maintained. But all in all hotel was perfectly fine and met all our expectations.

The quality of food and cafeteria service need significant improvement. Access to the beach is terrible and can cause serious accidents. Could not get a justification on why ACs are shut down for 2 hours daily. The service is quite good, rooms are comfortable.

NO COVID GUIDELINES ARE BEING FOLLOWED No guest is wearing masks, and no staff is asking them to mask up. There is zero social distancing, there are no signs asking people to mask up. Pool is open, against government guidelines. I felt extremely unsafe. Extremely irresponsible management.

Completely unacceptable room conditions

Stayed here one night December 16, 2018. Finding this place was tricky as it is on the farthest southwest coastal part of the town. I prepaid for three rooms, canceled one of the three, several days prior. The Reception Staff could find only one prepaid room reservation!! They were unfriendly, not knowledgeable about their own system and refused to check my family in. Even after I produced all the booking claims emails, they did not budge. I demanded to speak with a manager, they did not help. Keep in mind that I am fluent in the local language; which was of no use! Finally, they found the answer to my claims in their system, we were allowed in! The rooms are: Dirty, moldy, leaky (mosquitoes were freely coming in and out of the room and feasted on human blood), caulking of shower tub and tiles were moldy and missing, the shower floor was dangerously slippery, non functioning air conditioning system etc.. Value for the price was bad and anyone looking for accommodations in Mandarmoni will be better off looking for newer and cleaner hotels.
