Great luxury hotel at Kanazawa

The hotel is beautiful. The breakfast is 1 of best Japanese breakfast we have eaten. And all the staff are polite, professional and always ready to assist us. The hotel is within walking distance to Omicho market, Nagamachi district, Toyama shrine and Kanazawa castle.

We had a fantastic stay at the Mitsui Garden. The hotel was spotless and felt brand new. The rooms were on the small side but well appointed. We really enjoyed the lounge seats and view from the top floor onsen. It was a convenient location with Omicho Market, the Castle grounds, and Korinbo area a short walk away. Really most of the sites around town are walkable from the hotel but using the excellent bus system allows you to save time. The JR station is not far but definitely a taxi ride if you have luggage.

Proche des attrais principaux: omichi market, château Kanazawa, Jardin Kenroku-en, quartier des geishas et des Samurai. Nous avons tout fait à pied!

The restaurante is not the best for dinner. Practically no options for non-Japanese. The wine list only indicates the region but not the specific wines (type, year etc). Breakfast was very noisy and crowded.
