Comfy atmosphere in cosy bostel
Posted 23 Nov 2019 on HotelsGreat guesthouse with great service. The owner even upgraded us to a bigger room on our third night when he saw how tight our room was with our two small.kids. He even gave us a ride to the station at the end of our stay. We loved this hostel: comfy bunkbeds, nice kitchen and common room for making meals, clean washrooms and showers..

Lovely stay at Kanazawa

Shuji was an extremely welcoming host, who madr us feel very at home in Kanazawa. The location is ideal for viewing of the traditional neighbourhoods

The guest house was very comfortable and clean. Staff were super friendly, spoke good English and were happy to help recommending restaurants / activities.
It was located in one of the tea house areas which was really cool. It was about a 25 minute walk from Kanazawa station or a 10 minute bus ride (can take JR bus which is covered by rail pass). All of the sights we went to were within walking distance from the guest house.

Charming
Posted 20 Nov 2016 on HotelsWe had a great time at this guesthouse. Shuji was very welcoming and we enjoyed our evenings socialising with him and the other guests. The guesthouse is located in the tea district, so it was very convenient for touring this charming area. Its about a 20 min walk from the train station and 15 min walk from the market. The room was small, but that was fine for our needs as we only needed it for sleeping.
