There was mould or black spots on the curtain nettings, no air con so when we woke the windows were wet, and was too cold to keep the windows open for airflow, the curtains didn’t fit the windows in the main area, so it was either draw them to one side for privacy but the outside light shines in all night, or draw them to the other side to block out the light, but then you’ll be seen sleeping. No recycling bag or bin, and there was dirt in the tray that holds the hot drink sachets. Such a shame because the lady at the front desk was lovely

Good basic motel with decent kitchen in room -- good location to explore 90-mile beach and Northland. Only negative was hot tub wasn't all that warm.
