"This was our favourite accommodation throughout Japan. The room was huge with a separate toilet and powder room to the bathroom. Japanese PJ's were provided which was a nice touch, also a hair straightener and curler and Nespresso coffee pods. The staff were amazing, so polite and helpful and always smiling. The breakfast was an experience in itself - opt for the Japanese style breakfast- it was delicious. The location was perfect, only a 5 min walk to the Keihan subway line and walking distance...

"The Hyatt is conveniently located not far from a JR Sunday line from where one can reach almost all interesting locations in Kyoto. The rooms are well designed, clean and quiet. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The Japanese restaurant is nice and provides good food & good & friendly service but it is expensive compared to restaurants at the Ponto-cho. If one has a car parking is provided on site for a fee. My wife and I staid for 6 nights and we liked the hotel."

"Stayed here last year and definitely recommend, the staff are at the level of a $1000 a night hotel and the breakfast is the best deal I've ever had at a hotel"

"This place will add a traditional feel to your trip. It's charming from the inside out. It's very clean. The property manager speaks english very well. The bath is amazing, if not a little complicated to figure out. It's perfect after walking all day. It's very charming, and I definitely recommend it. "

"We stayed for 2 nights. Hotel is walking distance from the train station which is convenient. You are able to rent a bike for free! So much fun. Great amenities. Staff are so kind, nice and very helpful. They also speak English. There is Lawson next to the hotel so you can easily walk over there to buy snacks and drinks. We enjoyed it and highly recommend it! "Cleanliness was disappointing — there were chunks of hair in the bathtub and stains on the couch, which really shouldn’t happen. The bed was also extremely firm, making it hard to get comfortable."

"Stayed at 3 different hotels during my trip and this one was my favorite. Nice location with just a 2-mins walk from Kyoto station. 711 is connected to the lobby. Spacious and clean room. Comfortable PJs. Nice shower with very hot water and good water pressure. Fast wifi and tons of info on the TV and the website.
The only area that could be improved is the laundry room. There was no trash can, and I found some leftover trash in the washer from the previous user. The dryer also wasn’t very effective as our clothes were still wet afterward, so we had to hang them to dry in our room after. There was one light in our room that couldn't be turned off so we had to sleep with that light on every night. "
"A more upscale experience and incredibly convenient for travellers, located right inside Kyoto Station — perfect if you’re catching an early Shinkansen or arriving late. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with professional and attentive staff. The breakfast was excellent, and the cooks even made a custom soft-boiled egg on request, which was a nice touch. There are several dining options within the hotel, though they’re on the pricier side, and countless others just steps away in and around the station. A great mix of comfort, service, and unbeatable location."
"Super handy location to train station. Beautiful building and facilities. Laundry was in high demand so had to keep on top of things to get in line but everything else about this place was fabulous. "
