Wonderful staff, friendly and helpful. Loved being right next to Hyde Park shopping centre.

Short stay in Cape Town.

A short two nights stay at the Southern Sun Hotel in central Cape Town at the end of our cruise. Had to wait a long time to be taken to our room so we left our luggage in the hotel store and went to the seafront until late afternoon which was very nice. Had a nice snack in the evening in the lovely hotel bar. Didn’t get much chance to use the pool as it was evening time and quite dark. Would love to visit this hotel again in the future.

Not a good experience

The internet frequently malfunctions, and my phone consistently fails to connect with Housekeeping, Concierge, and Front Desk. Despite my repeated requests to the front desk, I stayed here for eight nights in a room with a subpar view – initially facing the mall parking lot and later overlooking the restaurant's roof.

What i liked was the mall that was attached, the pool area with the DJ,the staff was amazing, they were very professional. What i did not like was the lighting in the room is HORRIBLE! I also dont like carpet on the floor
