We met the famous ghost of De Deur
Posted 11 Mar 2020 on HotelsWe arrived at the Lodge very tired after traveling and sitting in a meeting for a full day. When we arrived at the lodge there was no-one to greet us and we were looking for the reception area - No reception area. I manage to engage one of the cleaners and she informed me that they are not aware of our booking. W had to wait for her to get our rooms ready. When we left the next morning we did not receive breakfast as it was included in our booking. We left the keys in the door of the rooms as there was no one to give it to. We had to open and close the gate ourselves as there was no one to do this. The venue though was a pleasant surprise, neat gardens and the inside of the rooms, the bed was comfortable and no problem with the bathroom. Very sad that the service was non-existent. But it is my inference that Hotels.com is to blame for the lack of service at the Lodge.

It was good becoz of its outskirt nature bit breakfast was terrible. Both myself and my wife we cook. They must improve on that
