It was close to the airport. It was in a quiet, safe neighborhood and had an excellent view of a beautiful little lake that you could walk to.
They served breakfast which was very good. They do not serve dinner but have options you can choose from and they order it and have it delivered.
We had the romantic suite and loved the charm mixed with modern.

My room was like a renovated medieval Tuscan villa. From the beautiful stained glass door entrance and charming decor to the spacious bathroom, there wasn't much to not like. It had nearly every necessary amenity. Some special features included an electric blanket to keep warm and a good book to read (I was sad to not have time to finish it). Ample lighting and charging stations. Soft towels.
The service was just as excellent. From complimentary pickup and dropoff from/to the airport, to the woman (sorry I didn't ask her name) at the front desk making me a breakfast fruit bowl and yoghurt for dinner to providing an umbrella for the rain, the level of service did not go un-noticed.
The only minor inconveniences were the key/keyhole to the entrance were tricky to use (thus getting wet in the rain) and there was no elevator. The driver that picked me up seemed to take an unusual route before getting to the hotel, but no problem.
The price and value of this stay would be hard to beat.

This was a beautiful surprise. The property is gorgeous and the rooms are too. The beds were very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool could use a cleaning to swim in but other than that it was perfect!! I highly recommend this charming guesthouse!

Staff are great. Breakfast very good. Comfy beds & linen. Property itself looks sad. Has a lot of potential. Needs a good dusting from light fittings & throughout & clean windows. Outside areas neglected.

Nicolene is extremely helpful. She assisted with our rental car arrangements and had the car delivered at the guest house.
We arrived late at night and she arranged for fresh sandwiches to be in our room when we arrived since the kitchen was already closed and dinner was not an option.
We will stay here again.
The staff are friendly and very helpful.
