Stayed here on our arrival to South Africa 16 days ago. Water heater problems and was told that they were having it fixed. Leaving for home and decided to return to the hotel for our departure, hot water was not working properly. 5 minutes into your shower and no hot water, only heat in our room was a small electric heater which was insufficient at keeping the room warm.We stayed in a safari tent that was warmer. Only food available was breakfast and that from 7:00 till 10:00. No ac in the rooms not that we needed it.

In response to your recent review of the property, will you please allow us the opportunity to offer our sincere apologies for the inconvenience you have experienced. In all honesty we have had challenges, all due to the extremely low winter temperatures experienced of late, with the hot water system. We have taken all the necessary steps to remedy the situation and had a team on site until 21h30 on the particular evening to address the challenge, sadly there were parts that was needed and not able to be fitted at the late hour. We pro-actively sent a broadcast message to all guests to inform them of the situation and offered alternative rooms, that had hot water for guests to shower in. Unfortunately it has taken long for the technicians to isolate the problem, since your first visit. This is not the norm at Airport Game Lodge and we can report that the issues has been repaired to satisfaction and that all hot water systems are up and running satisfactorily. Thank you for drawing our attention to the heater in the room that was not sufficient at the time. We are also addressing that as a matter of urgency. The Breakfast Room hours are from 6am - 10am, as displayed and was on the particular day only served from 7am due to frozen pipes to the breakfast kitchen facility, which hampered our ability to keep to the prescribed breakfast times. Our guests' well-being and comfort - especially during this spate of adverse weather conditions - is of utmost importance. Your honest review goes a long way in assisting us in our quest to provide excellent service delivery and accommodation facilities. It would be our pleasure to invite you back in the near future so you can experience our true hospitality and a hearty South African breakfast served at the correct time.

price is very competitive for the condition and room size. Huge room and very good bathroom.

This place is a hidden gem, conveniently located near the airport. I had an amazing experience staying here, thanks to the host who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. If you're looking for a hassle-free and enjoyable stay, then this is the place to be.

As in my earlier comment, the staff worked tirelessly to remedy the issues identified. More over, they acted proactively to ensure that we got to the airport on time!

We did not have internet or power for almost our entire stay. We needed food and they had run out, so we left the premises to find a bite. Despite asking, we were not given a key fob to enter or exit the gated community. Upon returning, we called the provided phones and even resorted to honking for someone to open the gate for us. Security only opened after we waited for over ten minutes in their secluded and dark driveway.

Overall i was happy with the stay, the staff were very friendly, pickup from airport was a little late but nothing to complain about.room was cosy ,wifi was great included streaming TV, breaksfast was sufficient. Few game animals to watch. Definitely value for money and will stay if i need a night away
