I always stay at Quancheng Plaza when I travel to Jinan. The city center location is great. The rooms are comfortable. The breakfast buffet is ample. Be aware the breakfast food is Chinese not western. The price is reasonable.

Ridiculous room allocation!

Cons: NOT worth the costs...
My parents checked into the hotel & were placed in Block C. This used to be another hotel, but was bought over by QuanCheng. 1. It was very far from the reception- you need to walk past an entire car park & reach another building altogether; 2. This block C used to be a local 3 star hotel, you can still see the name of the former hotel; 3. For a lesser price, you can get a 4 star hotel elsewhere!

great value/location for family

Pros: great value
Cons: free wi fi not available/working
Location: conveniently located, near everything
great location. great value for the money. hotel listed free wi-fi as one of the amenities, but it was not available in half of the building and it didn't work even in the business center where it was supposed to be available. breakfast is plentiful but only catered to Chinese travelers...the only familiar to a Western traveler would be coffee which is watery and awful.

Solid choice if no other considerations

The location is as central as physically possible. Breakfast is great, probably the best selection of dishes I've seen in 3-4 star places. Rooms are big. Definitely need renovation, however. Internet was bearable for the mainland China. I encountered no serious issues with English, somebody at the frontdesk can help you at any given moment. The price looked a bit high compared to Beijing. On the other hand, similar places in Shanghai are somewhat more expensive.

Great but not excellent

First impression was luxurious. Service was good also in English. Breakfast was very good. Room was rather small but very comfortable. Only real minus was dirty carpet and shower drain pretty much blocked.
