It’s difficult to get to the hotel with cars because you have to drive around the hotel in very busy streets

Terrible check-in experience

It was a terrible experience to take for the room to be cleaned. I arrived at the hotel around 3PM, but still was told that the room was not ready for check-in. I waited for another 30 minutes before getting the key card.

The room was spacious. However, it was pretty dirty, far below InterContinental's standard. One or two floors were under construction so the smell in the Lobby was bad.

The pool and gym facilities were excellent. The open buffet at night and breakfast in the morning were excellent. Even had a halal food section!!

A real gem in the City of Springs in China, prime location within walking distance of some of the best dining and shopping experience in the city, quality of service and comfort of hotel easily out rivals any 5 star hotel we’ve been to in China. The place simply exuded class as a 5 star hotel should, easily putting many of its counterparts to shame. Staff was courteous to the point of being apologetic (for nothing!). I know it’s a cliche but the experience was truly unforgettable; my wife and kids love the hotel so much, we have no qualms revisiting the city again for the sake of restaying at the hotel, it was that good!
