Can have better backer for the money paid.

Posted 1 Jan 2024 on Hotels
The checkin experience was disappointing as they had given our room to someone else and made us wait for about an hour even though we only arrived by 6 pm. Furthermore, they didn’t supply us with adequate soaps and the room had many mosquitoes. We did purchased buffet dinner to find that there is hardly any vegetarian option so my family went hungry in the night. Breakfast again has not many vegetarian options. Service was a notch low considering the cost per night.

Quiet and peaceful.

Had a pleasant stay in a quiet area of Jimbaran. Don't be discouraged by the gravely road and trash on the way to the hotel. The hotel is modern, clean, spacious and peaceful.

Lovely hotel for good price

Posted 11 Aug 2016 on Hotels
Had a lovely stay at this hotel, the rooms were very clean and comfy with working wifi and aircon. The staff here are extremely helpful! The only downside of this hotel is the location is slightly out of jimbaran and uluwatu (but the area is quite spread out anyways seems to be that you need a bike or to get taxis like we did) luckily the hotel has a shuttle you can use and they are more than willing to be accomdating with where you want to go using the shuttle within reason. Would stay again!

Magical ambience and incredible value for money

Posted 11 Jun 2016 on Hotels
We loved Sakura JImbaran. Our friends paid 20 times more for max 3 times better value. The staff were unfailingly warm and helpful...providing us with anything we needed for the family wedding we attended, and a free open-air shuttle to many local amenities and locations. The hotel is beautifully landscaped in Balinese style, and is about to become even better with a major extension from 10 to 50+ rooms and villas and more facilities. And we even were undisturbed by the building activities.

A gem of a find!

Posted 20 Feb 2016
Pros: The quiet position The comfortable room The pool The friend,y staff
Cons: The breakfast became slightly tedious. Noticed all the western travellers asked for toast which was not available.
Location: Near to Jimbaran Bay with its lovely beach Easy distance by taxi to Kuta and Nusa Dusa for eating out and shopping
Excellent value accommodation. A couple of Kms outside jimbaran but hotel provided shuttle Bus. Lovely swimming pool to cool off after a day out. Peaceful setting in typical Balinese surrounding. Basic breakfast provided. There was some building work going on during our stay to extend the hotel and provide more facilities. Noise did not really disturbed us and once finished this will add to the charm. A real gem.

Hidden gem home stay

Posted 15 Jan 2016 on Hotels
Overall nice hotel. This home stay is good for couples and friends who are familiar with Jimbaran, Uluwatu, Balangan and for people who love to drive scooters as it's literally in the middle of nowhere. it was great for my partner and I as we used to live in Bali and travel there frequently. I don't recommend this place if it is your first time :-). Nice pool good wifi and strong aircon. CONS: our tap pressure was broken and we didn't like the breakfast menu as the choice is only eggs with savoury (potato, greens ect) food I usually don't eat for breakfast. Nice hotel we liked it very relaxing and quiet

I love the pool. The location is Fantastic for me. The rooms are so spacious . Some homestays don't have a tv or breakfast included so big pluses there! my only little tiny nah would be that there's no crockery or cutlery in the rooms.

Ok for business

Water was literally on demand ie I had to call every morning before I hit the shower to tell them to release water, then wait for 10 minutes before being able to take a shower. Rest great. I used it as a cheaper option to Rimba Jimbaran, the very expensive option in this neighbourhood. Bike rental was 60k IDR, good and cheap.

Great place- limited facilities. Careful- no wifi

Posted 2 Jul 2015
For the price it is a really beautiful place. Outstanding pool and satisfactory rooms. We just found there was no wifi as advertised as they said it was not working indefinitely. Wifi was part of the reason we chose this place. Also.. The hotel food menu is not correct. Apparently the menus has changed since advertised and all you can literally order is fried rice or noodles despite an in room menu offering grilled fish and tasty dishes. The location really is middle of nowhere so it's quite a genuine experience set in the run down outer areas. However the place is lovely... A really nice pool and set up. For the price it's fantastic. Just don't expect great faculties or top notch service/food. It's a Good 40 mins to seminyak by taxi which costs around $15 AU. We Chose it as our friends were getting married at rimba which is a few Mins around the corner. It's quiet with chickens and dogs roaming around and cows in paddocks. True Bali off the beaten track experience well away from horrendous tourists and busy busy life. 3 Nights was plenty enough! Stayed June 2015, travelled as a couple
