"As you arrived at the hotel everything smelt lovely. The service ar the front desk was excellent, in fact all the staff were helpful and courteous. Hotel was spotless, room spacious and breakfast excellent."

"Location very good. Check in good. Went to the room and checked and found the bed sheet, pillows cases and duvet cover was not change. The double bed sheet was very creased and had body fluid stains in the middle of the bed. The sofa bed also was dirty. I went down to the bar reception ask there was a duty manager and told her that bed sheet was not change. She immediately informed housekeeper to rectify the problem. The housekeeper came to the room within 5 minutes to see the situation and went out to get clean bed ware. Even the housekeeper said it was disgusting. The housekeeper noticed that the toilet roll was very low needed replacing and went out the new roll. When the housekeeper left he said that they investigated who did the house keeping in room 480. I thought that everything was rectified until I went for a shower later that night. The shampoo was empty. The shower was very very hot. Even you set the temperature to the lowest it was hot not even cold. My son aged 10 couldn’t have shower because the water was too hot. I think the thermostat the shower was broken. The next morning I went down to the bar reception and ask to see the duty manager and told him my experience staying at this hotel. Then I show him the photos of the double bed sheet and sofa bed sheet and he ask me to sent the photos to him. So I did I airdropped the photos to his phone. I told person the whole situation and he said he will logged the case and will get back to me in 24 hours."

"I didn’t even stay here because the rooms were not clean. WiFi didn’t work ever. I was moved to three different rooms and they were each not clean. The carpets are filthy and didn’t want to walk barefoot in the room. Upsides: location and clever layout of small room to keep suitcase out of the way. "

"The hotel exceeded all expectations. We arrived and our room was not quite ready. The check in staff offered us a voucher for two glasses of champagne while we waited; they then come to find us to tell us the room was ready and they had upgraded us. We had a lovely room with a nice view. On the way back after dinner we stopped at 12th knot for a couple of cocktails and enjoyed the atmosphere and great view over St Paul’s. Our room was on the 9th floor, not the biggest room we have ever stayed at, but a good size, with a nice bathroom and decent amenities. My only comment is that it would be nice if there was a mirror by the desk so that it can be used as a dresser. The bed was comfortable and the hotel quiet, no slamming doors through the night like in other hotels. A very enjoyable stay. "

"Hotel was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Capsule was very hot inside and the toilets didn't have adequate amount of toilet rolls. Also the showers need either better storage to stop clothes etc getting wet or a curtain putting up. The hotel it's self was clean. "

"Overall great experience at Strand Palace. Fabulous location in Covent Garden with access to restaurants, stores, theatre and three different Underground stations each within 1/4. Lovely, clean and updated rooms and lobby. Staff very helpful. Breakfast great and plentiful. I would stay again there for sure. "
