Beautiful architecture, excellent breakfasts. A bit of wear and tear on the rooms, but not a problem. Excellent value.

Check in counter staff was half day dreaming. Don't know what they ask? Make mistakes. Ask me to rate my stay in hotel even before I checked in. The staff cannot recognise her guest. Check out the same too, never close my pending deposits, I must remind her. Address my surname but spoke to me in Bahasa, no initiative, slow like sloth, no energy, lack of zeal to serve... Probably they blame it on their fasting. Breakfast almost empty at 0830am., never replenish food, coffee machine is half working, can only grind and prepare quarter cup of coffee.

Service levels could be improved. Gym area a bit run down too

I had a room facing the main road in front of the hotel. There is virtually no soundproofing to keep out external noise, and the constant noise of motorcycles that sound like helicopters taking off meant that it was impossible to get a good nights sleep. At 3am the noise level inside my room regularly exceeded 80 db. In addition there is an enormous amount of noise in the corridors of the hotel at the weekend when all the drunk guests leave the karaoke bars downstairs, finally, both the in room fridge and air conditioning made so much noise it was impossible to sleep without unplugging or turning them off. If you like to actually sleep at night, I would avoid this hotel. Breakfast was ok.

Overall, the stay was average. The towels are well used, the vacuum was not run everyday, the lights flickered constantly.

The staff is good . Only thing is , we booked supposed to be a week after but due to emergency, my father in law died , they don’t want to refund , hope at least there’s some consideration when it comes to this situation.

When I checkedin, front counter confirmed that my room is smoking free and singled king side bed with 1 person for breakfast. When I walked into room#1809, it turned up to be a twin size bed. I went down to front counter, explained and request to change room. Another front counter staff attended to me, showed a very low unhappy face, as though I was creating trouble, very unwilling comply. But I told her, I asked for king size bed, why gave me a double bed with 1 breakfast? Does it make sense? Eventually I was told to return to room, wait for waiter to send me a new room keys. I have been staying in this hotel everytime I traveled to Jakarta, I notice their service is getting bad to worst. If it is not close to my partner's office, I would have stayed in another hotel. The staff attitude in this hotel getting worse. The better ones have resigned from this hotel. I have stayed in this hotel for a few years, I saw the drastic change of staff. Everytime, new staff joined, their service standard drops. And you call this GRAND MECURE KEMAYORAN, what a mismatched. Disappointed.
