Overall stay was ok. The fact that it is owned by a family and their stay at the property was a rest assured for us. The ambiance was nice, food was good but the rooms were a disaster. All bed covers were dirty, stained, smelly and the bathroom filthy. The owner put up a fit at the beginning and threatened to cancel our stay but later agreed to clean up. The staff were amazing and cleaned up to par. After that without hesitation our stay was ok. Just remember there was no toiletries other than hand soap, so bring your own. Also remember that you are very close to the railway station and be ready for the train noise.

Dear Sir,We maintain great hygiene standards at Pratap Bhawan and our other guest reviews are proof to that,I had asked you to change hotel on the very first day of your arrival because you were extremely rude to our staff so much so that the poor boy had tears in his eyes because you all kept shouting at him. You had an expectation of a 5 star hotel from us which we obviously are not capable of catering and thats why i clearly told you that we are not a luxury 5 star we are family run homestay and you made one of our family member cry for which there is no excuse and you are very well aware how rudely ma’am was behaving with our staff. Kindly bear in mind that we go out of our way to make guests feel comfortable but rude and rowdy behaviour is not tolerable hence i had to step in and give you the ultimate option of leaving the property or being more humble and you rightly chose the latter.

Fantastic place and service

I can second all the fantastic reviews this place has been given. A very hospitable couple and wonderful staff who do look after you very well.

Excellent accueil, esprit maison avec une grande salle à manger, gentil personnel. Dîner et petit dej excellents.
