Staff called us after booking and informed the rated paid online from Expedia is not the rate and we need to pay more. Infact they demanded double the amount what we paid. When we informed that we just need couple of hours of rest before we catch our flight they reluctantly agreed and were cribbing. What if we were to stay overnight. It would have been a disaster!!!!!!

Posted 16 Nov 2019 on HotelsCheck-in was quick and fast even when we reached at 2am. The room however has dusty floors and the bed covers dont feel clean. No toilet paper and towels. Still pretty live-able since wifi, AC, charging points, hot showers were working. There were plenty of leftover food bowls in the walking hallway that was not cleared even after an entire day. When we wanted to check-out, the staff was unfriendly when we tried to get their help to order transport to the hotel. Not sure the high rating but this was our experience with Hometales.

Hometales is recently open and is making waves in the hostel scene in Jaipur. Staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The beds are comfortable, food is delicious, and proximity to the airport is perfect! A bit far from the old town, but the staff will arrange transportation at a fair price. With an eye-catching interior and plenty of friendly guests to mingle with, I'd definitely stay here again.
