It’s a castle! What’s not to like! Great room, beautiful view, beautiful lounge, super helpful and friendly staff. Recommend it highly.

Beautiful building, stunning views

Bathroom spacious with bath & nice hot shower.
Rooms had aircon/heating but unable to adjust, not a big problem as temperature was OK.
Bar & restaurant stunning, although bar area was cold in the evening.
Food was good, as was service.
Portions good size.

Thank you for your review regarding Parador de Jaen, a castle perched on top of a mountain with 360 degree views. The exterior is sublime. Views towards Jaen town on one side and the hills and countryside on the other. The rooms are very well presented and modern but with a historic feel. The internal facilities and decor are beautiful. From the lounge areas to the historical paintings, the restaurant and bar area, everything is special. Superb hotel
Posted 13 Jan 2024 on HotelsWe had high expectations of the hotel and were certainly not disappointed. All staff were very friendly and attentive. We ate both breakfast, snacks and dined in their restaurant and all food was really good and not expensive. It’s a good walk down into Jaen but all uphill getting back.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing views from my room and the property. We opted for the half-board and had great meals.

Beautifully decotated buildings in the castle complex, and rooms with easy parking. The only thing I would have liked is a coffee and tea maker in my room.
