Front desk help was good at times but not helpful at other times depending who was working. When I asked about a place for breakfast the desk person never looked up from what she was doing and recommended Panera. I could have done that myself but I was looking for a more local place. We found something on our own.

Where to begin? 1.The pillows were HORRIBLE. 2.Our room was never cleaned so we had to go to the front desk and get our own fresh towels and was told it was our fault for not asking to have our room cleaned! Seriously??? 3.The a/c unit barely worked. 4.Then to top it off, they hit us with a “$20/day Self Parking” charge that I found on my final bill that was emailed to me. Apparently it was a “misc charge” that they take from your deposit now. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place!

We do apologize for any of the troubles you had during your stay. However, all Hilton Hotels are now housekeeping by request due to the pandemic. If you had needed anything all you had to do was call the front desk and we would have sent it up to you. As for the parking Expedia tells you when you book that there is a self-parking charge. We are under renovation right now, so a lot of things are being fixed.

This is an older Hilton. Unfortunately we were there when they were performing maintenance on the pool, so we weren’t able to enjoy it. The bed pillows were a joke. I wouldn’t even call them pillows. I could literally squeeze the middle of the pillow and make a closed fist. Definitely not Hilton quality. No one told me what the parking fee was until I received the receipt for it. Would stay there again, just need need to bring my own pillow.

I wish hotels would tell you when the property is being refurbished. Our room was terrible and location offers no shuttle or taxi access. We were stranded at Everbank arena and couldn’t get back. We called hotel for help and no one was able to help us. Finally found a cab with 2 other people and they allowed us to share. No help from Homewood Suites.

We apologize for any inconvenience our renovations had on your stay however on our hilton.com website it says we are under renovations at this time and with you booking third party we do not control what they share about this hotel. As for the other issue you had we as a hotel have never offered taxis or shuttles to and from events if there were it was something provided by Jacksonville transportation Services, we did have flyers and personal driver's cards that were sitting on the counter. But again, we apologize for your trouble and hope to see you soon.

Nothing room was horrible and nasty bedding was stained and dirty shower was nasty

Hopefully, next time you stay with us, you stop by the desk if you are not satisfied with the room, we would have tried to fix it. We look forward to your next visit.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The location was great, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and spacious. The coffee was good, but the breakfast provided by most hotels wasn't to my liking.
