Right location wrong hotel

Our superior double room wasn’t superior. The drapes over the bed shown in photos were non existent as was the rug shown. We walked barefoot over lifting laminate floor with rough edges. The best part of our stay was the bathroom which had been refurbished and couldn’t be faulted. The rest of the hotel was tired and dated and in need for refurbishment.The advertised restaurant was closed except for breakfast. The breakfast was mediocre and limited. The coffee machine wasn’t working after the first day. The staff response was ‘problem’ accompanied by a shrug of her shoulders as she walked away. One of the staff sat smoking inside the restaurant by a partially open door. She was disinterested and actually went to sleep with her head on the table one morning. Her colleague did likewise the next day. We certainly didn’t feel particularly welcome. The reception staff were marginally better but nothing much. Disappointing to say the least

Right location, wrong hotel!
Posted 29 Dec 2019 on HotelsGreat location With all the sights of Sultanahmet close by. Easy access to the Tram for going further afield. The bathroom was excellent and couldn't be faulted. Our superior double whilst clean wasn't anything special and was poorly furnished with a shabby coffee table and a mismatching TV console. The pictured drapes on the bed we're non existent as was the rug.
Breakfast was very limited. The coffee machine wasn't working after the first morning. When I asked about it the woman working there shrugged and said 'problem'. End of. The hotel description said there was a restaurant. İt didn't say it wasn't serving anything more than breakfast. The staff on reception were helpful. The catering staff much less so. One spent her time playing with her mobile phone on speaker or sitting inside by the partly open terrace door smoking. One morning she was asleep with her head on the table. As we left this morning her colleague was asleep.

Great location and large room.
Posted 16 Aug 2019 on HotelsGreat location, just steps from the Topkapi Museum, Hagia Sophia, etc. The room for 4 was very large, like an apartment. Everything about it was good. The only things that could have been better - the bathroom fixtures needed tightening and the breakfast was good, but not as good as in other hotels in the area. Friendly and helpful staff.

The location of the property and ease of walking to all sights important is fantastic. Tons of great places to eat and shop nearby.
Bathrooms need a little updating and couple of working trash cans would have been nice.
The front office staff are all great and very helpful.
Breakfast ok. Greater selection of fresh fruits would have been nice.

Pros:
1. Very near Topkapi Palace
2. Nice view from hotel top but not so close to marmara sea
3. Nice reception, always there 24hrs. Breakfast lady also nice
Cons:
1. Bed was too soft, aged and partly broken, I tot the bed was gonna collapse
2. Room small and quite aged
3. On our 2nd day there was a problem with hot water and it means the room heater also cannot function. Even our room has bath tub but we cannot enjoy it because the water was freezingly cold
4. Breakfast was just ok, nothing much. The alfresco restaurant was closed probably due to winter. So I did not enjoy it that much

Our hotel is in the center of Sultanahmet. So you can go all historical places by walk. You can see Marmara Sea, Aghia Sophia and Blue Mosque from our terrace. You can go to Marmara Sea in 5 minute by walk. So it is not to far. Our breakfast is open buffet breakfast.Our hotel is small hotel but our all rooms are large rooms. Yes, you had heating and hot water problem during the not you stayed. But we solved the problem as soon as possible. Our all rooms have shower just deluxe double room has with a jakuzzi (bathtub with your words).

Bad Service
Posted 22 Sep 2018 on HotelsThe location of hotel was good but the service of staff was very bad.Payment for breakfast was paid but the staff refused to give us breakfast even up to 07:30 am before our early checkout time which is against our booking terms. Breakfast payment has been taken but breakfast was not provided .

Dear Sir,
Our breakfast time is from 08:00 till 11:00 o'clock. So, we do not offer breakfast outside this time. All hotels have their own procedures. When staff apply the rules, they should not be bad.
