Great hotel with friendly helpful staff and an excellent breakfast. Located in Sultanahmet about 5 minutes' walk from the tram station and also 5-10 minutes' walk from the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. Also short walk to Eminömu (where we caught the ferry to Kadiköy) and over to Galata Bridge, Galata and Karaköy. Very walkable area, near theaim attractions and public transport so it was easy for our first time in Istanbul.

Very friendly, hospitality was great. 5mins to grand bazar, 10mins to sultan ahmet. Just that the hotel is on a steep hill. With all your shopping you need a taxi

Hotel is is a great location, but it’s right in the middle of the wholesale area, and a boys school opposite, we were given room 402 avoid the ground floor rooms on the front of the hotel as it’s very very noisy and I’ve had the worst nights sleep ever, the hotel need to soundproof the rooms as we could also hear the doorbell from the room next to us and every time they shut their door the lights in our room would move and vibrate and rattle, I did request not to be put on the ground floor and yet ended up there, also requested to move rooms which was just one floor up and wouldn’t make any difference to the noise level, honestly we tried to stay out of the room as much as possible but it did leave a bitter taste which ruined out city break

I liked the hotel staff very much. They went above and beyond to please us. My only critique would be that the room was very small.
