This Homewood, as 2/3 other Homewood hotels that I've stayed, has old/stained furniture problem. They gave a relatively bigger suite to us, but right next to the elevator. Towels with very un-fresh smell, until next day changed fresh towels, did we know that the room must had not got guest for some time already. Bed/bed linen/towels are of poor quality. Not matching its review score. We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, later booked another one with comparable review score in the same area, with less money (smaller room, no kitchen), much better hotel facilities and cleanness. The hotel didn't tell that you need to book for daily clean then can you get room makeup, via this, we got one day not cleaned. We also met new guests at 4:30 PM, who, a grp of 6, sat in the lobby, waited for more than two hours to get their rooms ready (told still under cleaning). But by our sensing, they were far from fully booked. After check-out, I found out that I lost a personal item, not expensive but very important to me, in the room. I called 5 times to the hotel, each time the front desk promised would call me back no matter found or not, but never. Very disappointing unprofessional service! An unexpensive item finally could not get found, shows another perspective problem of this hotel. A not well managed, not in good-shape hotel!

Was affected by the crazy weather that shut down all of DFW airport. This was all we could get and we stayed only for one night. Pros: Reception ladies and housekeeping crew are the positives in this weather fiasco. They were sold out totally yesterday, and when one room came avaliable, it was already snapped up. Hallways looked clear, room was found clean and replenished. Cons: Probably the lack of food places as property is tucked away. Quiet, but tucked away from walking distance food establishments. So unless you have a car or get something delivered, you may be out of luck until breakfast is served.

They over booked our room. Our family is 2 adults and 6 (3 to 16) kids we booked the suite so we all could be in the same room we called the hotel to make sure we were able to still check in late(2am) the hotel verified everything and said we were good to go. An hour later we got another call saying we didnt have a room and they over booked. We were 2 hours away from being there at the hotel from a 12 hr drive.

Staying at Homewood was great. The rooms were clean and I enjoyed the kitchenette. It was nice having a room for the kids with a pullout couch. The heater in the pool wasn’t working so the water was very cold so we didn’t get to go in the pool much, the staff was nice and the breakfast was OK. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the large space. PS, this is for all hotels: please have sink steps for small children. This would be very helpful when they need to wash their hands and brush their teeth.
