Hotel.com broke the contract and charged us anyway
Posted 30 Aug 2023 on HotelsWe had a hotel.com guarantee for 4 nights. The hotel told us that they would only honor 2 nights. We did not agree to this. We left and went to a different hotel. We were build by hotel.com for all 4 nights even though they knew about the changes. This is all documented via emails. Hotel.com and this hotel can not be trusted.

First off let me say I'm not someone who usually leaves reviews. I've traveled very extensively and have stayed in many hotels and this experience was in the top 3 of all time. The hotel is immaculate. Every angle, every corner, every view was picturesque. The view over the lake and the city was a dream. Now for the staff. Unbelievable service with a smile. Family owned and it shows. The breakfast was one of a kind. Homemade fresh breakfast with variety every day. I will recommend this property to everyone I know. If you are visiting this general area you must stay at this property, you won't regret it.

Very friendly ans helpful staff. Nice decor and homely feel. Very luxurious feel. Everything about our stay was very enjoyable. You will need to car or be prepared for a taxi ride to get about as it is a bit off tyh e beaten track.

Great location, amazing breakfast. The patron is running it and he makes sure the guests feel welcome. Will visit again
