Lobby smelled like smoke, marks on bedding and loose handle in shower. Property had surface updates but is old. No locked doors other than rooms.

There is a serious water leak/damage from the above room in the bathroom. The carpet also had a musty smell to it. I was not impressed with the breakfast at all. The first morning all I could eat was pancakes and toast.

Entire building (but even worse in our room) smelled of smoke. To the extent, that our family and another with our group did not stay there. Building was not well maintained throughout. Back entrance was not secured to the outside. I have never left a negative review for a hotel in my life - this was unacceptable.
