This hotel is beautiful - from outside. It needs some serious renovation. The bathrooms are very outdated and super small. I had to request a change of rooma because of a moldy bathroom. The smell gave me an instant headache. This can’t be healthy! All the rooms I have experienced unfortunately have that old room smell. Please restore this beautiful historically valuable building!

It is true that some of the bathrooms are due to a renovation and we hope we can get those done soon. Hopefully in spite of this we'll see you as our guest again in the future.

Iconic hotel with loads of history

The rooms in the main building are dated but I think it’s part of the charm. The breakfast is nice with plenty of variety.

Fantastic art nouveau building

Really beautiful hotel. Nice decorations and details. Near the Imatra river. Nice surrounding for short walks. Close to the city centre.

Disappointed couple

Maybe our fault, but we did not realize that the room was in extra building instead of the main ”castle”. Room was ok, but with that money you would assume AC and better pillows. Restaurant was also little bit disappointment in the evening.

The hotel is a unique experience in Finland. There were some minor issues (the old-fashioned decor in the room etc.) but I enjoyed my stay nonetheless.

Thank you for your visit and your stay with us. Nice to hear you enjoyed your visit. The rooms in the Castle hotel have more old-time feel to them also in the décor and rooms in the newer Park hotel are more modern. Hope we'll get to have you back and maybe you can try the other side next time.
