I drove by the place at night a few days before my check-in. I thought i made a big mistake coming there. There were no lights and the area looked abandoned. I checked in and discovered a wonderful place with a great free breakfast at the on site restaurant, The Rabbit Hole. My only complaint was that the room had a moldy smell when the AC was not running. The AC goes off when you remove the access key from the power source. Once key is removed all the power goes off. It has to be an energy saving process. Anyway, I was there about 5 days. While i did see a couple of roaches, i didn't hold it against them. The hotel i had be this one had more roches and was less comfortable. I came to the conclusions thatthe buildings are old and connected to old structures. The staff is plentiful and very friendly. I enjoyed my stay there. I just had to tell it all.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Not thoroughly clean because there were some cockroaches in the hallway area.

The room we stayed was too small for 2 persons, its just enough for the bed and a little space. Its hard to move for 2 persons together at thesame time. The room has no safe. The room is clean though. Staffs in the restaurant doesnt seem to know what they are doing. We had our breakfast, i ordered a coffee, a prepared set of breakfast plate was given to my wife even if she did not ordered yet, then came my plate of food, reminded them again of my coffee, more than 20 minutes after i initially ordered my coffee, it came. The smell in the hallway is disgusting, Air Con in the hallway and lobby is off. The area around the hotel building is dirty, staffs are constantly reminding us when we go out to be extra careful as there’s a lot of pickpocketers around the area.

Overall, the service and the hotel itself was amazing. You could tell customer service was given importance to. The scent of the beddings, towels, and the room itself smells beautiful (smells like coconut). The front desk were very helpful and nice. The rest of the employees were polite. Also, the whole room was really clean and comfortable. Would definitely be back here if i'm in town again.
