The pub was brilliant and so friendly from first introduction to saying goodbye! The breakfast was delicious and filled a hole. And there were puppies which is an absolute bonus! Couldnt fault it, we were only there for a wedding but we would definitely visit again if we were in the area.

A very welcoming village pub. Food was great and the room we had (family room) was clean, fresh laundry and spacious. Great value as well. Breakfast was perfect portion size and a tasty start to our day. We would definitely go back.

Great find. Traditional pub. Good food.
Posted 20 Oct 2023 on HotelsStayed for one night to break up the journey to Cornwall. We received a friendly welcome on arrival and got checked in quickly before being shown to our room. Room was spacious enough for a family of four, with a decent size bathroom. We had dinner in the restaurant which was good size portions at good prices and tasted great. The breakfast was also great and each time the service was friendly and efficient. This is a lovely little traditional pub in a beautiful village and I would happily recommend to anyone wanting somewhere for an overnight stay.
