Amazing
Posted 3 Oct 2020 on HotelsAmazing stay. Originally booked for one night wanted to stay the second and they arranged a spare room so we could stay. Really friendly owners, nothing was any trouble for them. Made us feel very welcome, very clean and well decorated rooms. Would happily stay again without any thought. Loved our stay at Lion House

Posted 2 Sep 2019 on HotelsEverything about the stay was absolutely spot on. Arrived very late in the night but Andrew was fantastic about it. The room was large with all amenities needed, clean and well ventilated. The shower room was powerful and the towels were way better than in many hotels I have stayed in. The breakfast was a combination of cereals, fresh fruit, fresh orange , pastries, bread, cold meats, preserves and a choice of hot breakfast from an extensive menu; Eggs Bennedict were great (You can tell andrew is a Cheft by trade)
I will be back!

Andrew was an excellent host, assisting with luggage and washing. Nothing was too much trouble in a newly renovated building, with nearby parking off-street. Rooms are superb and food is excellent and well prepared. Gluten - free is catered for. It all made for an excellent stay. Thoroughly recommended.
