Pros: Clean, the staff was very polite.
Cons: The only thing was the staffs ability to speak and understand English well, some of them did. You must speak Japanese to communicate but this IS Japan
Location: The hotel is about a 28 minute walk to Iga Ueno Castle and the Ninja History Museum. close to some shops and plenty of places with excellent food.. Th
The check in staff understood my English which was good for me because my Japanese was far from communicative. The cleaning staff were so polite as well as the Front Desk staff. My room was as described and the bed was comfortable. Lobby was immaculate and the food served at breakfast was tasteful.

Out of town so not very convenient as a tourist for iga. Smoking room was very smelly. No English speaking staff. Breakfast was good though.

It is a love hotel

Posted 20 Apr 2015
Pros: The location was reasonable - the Aeon mall was 100 meters away. There were plenty of complimentary toiletries, haircare and skincare products.
Cons: It should be advertised more clearly that this is a love hotel. The hotel needs to improve their cleanliness.
Location: The Tejikara Fire Festival is 1.6km away. The Aeon mall is 100m away.
We booked this hotel not knowing it was a love hotel. The bed and pillows are quite uncomfortable. The staff would physically not let us leave the hotel without leaving the room key at reception. The elevator was not functioning correctly. The "non-smoking" room smelled of musty tobacco smoke. There was a very suspicious stain on one of the pillows. None of the windows open. I would not recommend this place for travellers.

An exquisite hotel in the countryside

The good thing about this hotel is the service of the staff as well as the general room condition. The bad thing will be the inaccessibility of the hotel via train or buses. Walking takes approx 30mins if you know how to navigate through the paddy fields but should you miss a turn, you're pretty much screwed... Walking along the bridge is crazy as there's no room for a person to walk. There are some restaurants nearby (abt 5-10 mins walking). And a convenient store located conveniently beside the hotel with men standing at the magazine rack browsing you know what.
