The hotel is right next to the freeway, so it is convenient. We could not hear the freeway even though our room faced that direction. The hotel is old, and it really needs to upgrade the bathrooms. The bathroom door was damaged. There were water stains in the sink, bathtub, and toilet. The flooring was fairly new and clean. The beds were comfortable. The hallways and the stairs in the hotel were very dirty. The stair railings were old and dirty. The stairwell walls were dirty. Overall, it needs to be cleaned and updated. We won't stay there again until it's been renovated.

I thought for the price it was very good. The front desk clerk who checked us in seemed to not know what she was doing and it took far too long. While checking in (at 3:00pm) I overheard her telling a co-working that I was too early and needed to not check in yet. I then found out that my room was not even cleaned yet and they weren’t sure when it would be. The same lady refused to see how much longer we needed to wait. However, the lady who took over was wonderful and helped out so much by calling housekeeping, walking down the Wi-Fi code, and adjusted our check out time. This hotel needs 10 more of this woman. She was terrific! I also thought that the parking lot seemed a bit unsafe. There were several cars and a couple of men who were not staying here but just hung out all evening. These were not stellar members of society. The women seemed to meet lots of men, the guy seemed to be up to no good, another lady was just sitting in her car far to long in the back corner, a family seemed like they had fallen on rough times and just hung around their car and the kids kept pounding on our widow. The other two gentlemen seemed homeless. They were standing with a plastic shopping bag and were talking about getting some money or get as ride from someone on the interstate. I really think overall this is well worth the money and if I was with my husband not just me and my daughter I might be more comfortable.

When i selected the room I chose a king size bed with a pullout couch for my nephew. I didn't get a room with a pull-out couch and they refused to help me. So no I'm not pleased with this hotel.
