Read my Google Maps review. I'll NEVER book Days Inn again. This location rates negative stars and no one from the company talked to me personally. I am not "that guy" who unreasonably complains, but they won't get a chance to screw me. Doug Wiseman

Hi Doug, sorry for any inconvenience caused but you should know the importance of reading the policies when ever you buy or reserve something online through third party. Expedia is a online third party travel agency and it clearly says in the cancellation policy that it is free cancellation 24 hours prior to arrival which in your case since you yourself said that you booked an hour before on the same day of arrival is not applicable. You had reserved the room for 3 nights and it was a prepaid reservation which also has a policy of once reserved is non-cancellable and non-refundable. But in your case the property made an exception and only charged you for night as cancellation fee and refunded the remaining 2 nights which you will have to ask Expedia since you paid to them and not the property. When checking you in the front desk representative did confirm with you the room type you booked by having you check the confirmation email which clearly said Smoking Double. You did ask the front desk if they had any non Smoking Double available and he said that they did not have any available.We are not responsible for what room type the guests reserves online as it is the guest's responsibility to make sure to double check if they booked the right room type by checking the confirmation email or contacting the property directly.

I had booked the room in the wrong state I called immediately spoke to the manager. He said I would need to talk to Expedia so I got a hold of Expedia and I haven’t heard anything back from them but she did tell me that I needed to call Expedia with my complete Expedia told me to call back to the manager.

Hi Traci, sorry for any inconvenience caused but just to inform you that Expedia is an online third party travel agency. Third party travel agency means that they coordinate between the customers and the motel but they are not directly associated to the motel. Any reservations made through third party, the motel does not have the authority to modify or cancel the reservation which can only be done through the third party. When you called the property the manager explained this to you so if you have any issues with your reservation you have to take it to Expedia not the property. If you would have made the reservation through WYNDHAM or the property directly then we could have cancelled the reservation free of charge.

The family running the hotel was fine- the backdoor of the hotel lock was busted and a homeless guy was seen mulitple times in thd building then walked over to the abandoned school and went inside. Hot water for the wash machine did not work- asked employee about it and he said its outside water so it wont be hot. Under the couch on the second floor in the hallway had trash sticking out from under it. Front doors as you walked in younwere greeted with a smoke odor.

If you think someone is homeless and you see trash under the couch you could have reported it to the front desk so that we could take some actions about it. There are trashcans all around the property but we cannot teach guests where to throw the trash. We have specific designated smoke areas away from the property and we do tell the guests that prefer smoking about it but once again we cannot control the actions of the guests. The front desk did great accommodating my needs. The bed was a bit rough and didnt sleep well.

I was very pleased with this property. The room was very cute in my opinion. The night audit was friendly and definitely knew his job. I will be staying there again in the future!!

Nmit was fairly quiet. However, there was a lot of remodeling supplies lying around everywhere. Pretty sure the pool won't open any time soon as they were using the deck for saws and supplies. One stairwell and emergency exit hampered by a roll of carpet pad. Smell was of stale cigarettes in corridor, breakfast wasn't much (mostly dry single serve items), non smoking room sheets had cigarettes holes in them. If I had known it was being remodeled and just getting going, I would chosen another hotel.

It is true that the property was under renovations but the renovations was completed 2-3 weeks ago before your stay. The remodeling supplies were not lying everywhere instead they were put in places where guests were not allowed and as per the pool we open the pool on memorial day so we have plenty of time to move the supplies from the pool which we have already did. The carpet roll is too heavy to be lifted by 2 people so that is why they were left by the stairways. We are out of room and trying to make room to put the rolls of carpets but they are put in a way that it is not blocking the passage at all. We serve a continental breakfast which includes muffins, donuts, cereals, oatmeal, milk, apple and orange juice, yogurt and coffee. Additionally we serve waffles, biscuits and gravy. Your feedback is very important to us as here at Days Inn, we strive to continuously meet and exceed our guests expectation.
