Nice clean hotel with a 10 min walk to downtown. Friendly and attentive staff. Rooms are clean with a nice decor.

Posted 22 Aug 2015 on HotelsWe enjoyed our stay at the Hotel am Schlosspark. We bought it as a last minute spontaneous decision and had maybe expected a discount (which we didn't get) but when we arrived we found check-in polite, extremely quick and free of any bureaucracy.
The room was large, comfortable, very clean and tidy. Walking from the hotel to the city centre near the inner harbour was easy and short. The buffet breakfast next morning surpassed our expectation: fresh juices, fresh fruit, cooked breakfast on request, good coffee. And again at reception check-out took less than a minute.

you have all you need on the breakfest table.
but i don't like that the cleaning people toke my privet schampoo.

Good Local Hotel
Posted 31 Aug 2011At first appearance the Hotel seems a bit motel like and old-fashioned (1960's vintage), but everything is clean and well kept and we found the service from every member of staff we encountered excellent. The buffet breakfast is very good quality with a good choice of food, and from what we heard from friends in two other Husum hotels, better than the local competition. The hotel is not quite in the heart of the town but a 10 minute walk will take you there. Recommended.
