Great place to stay

Short walk from Portslade station and easy bus ride into Brighton.

Portslade, not Hove
Posted 14 Aug 2023 on HotelsSpacious, airy room and nice bed and pillows. Good service- cleaned every day.Room very bare- needs more storage and brightening up. It would have been nice to have tea on the hospitality tray and access to an ironing board and iron. Very close to Portslade Station and bus routes. It was basic, but served a purpose.

Would definitely stay here again

Unfortunately I was charged a pre authorisation fee and the full amount was taken out before, even after choosing the option to pay at the hotel upon arrival, with me still having to pay when I had got there. However this was not the hotels fault and I have raised this issue with them. Otherwise the experience at the hotel was good, the room was spot on. Many thanks

Okay, with a couple of caveats.
Posted 15 Jul 2022 on HotelsGenerally quite nice, but two very specific complaints. First, the bed was not good. Second, the shower was far too on the first night cold, than far too hot on the second! But clean, well-presented, suitable temperature and free wifi. At this price, don't expect miracles.
