We stayed on the first floor. The whole hall way smelled like BO. Disgusting! The carpets in the hallway were clearly dirty. I could hardly understand the guy at the front desk. We will never stay here again. If you want to charge that much you can at least clean the place & find someone who can speak good English at the front desk. The eating area & the entry were ungodly hot.

It was genuinely ok for a place to stay a night while on a road trip, but had its quirks. Now the important details… The room was acceptable but not the newest or cleanest, WiFi was good, never heard anyone else while in the room. The whole place was very hot (hallways, lobby, breakfast room). The hot tub was also hot which was great (guessing 100 degrees plus)! But… the large pool was basically the same temp (weird) and had not been skimmed recently. Breakfast was barely ok with some typical items missing (yogurt, breakfast meat, lids that would fit coffee cups). All the hot food was gone when we walked in around 8am, it took 5-10 minutes before it was filled (just scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy) They seemed understaffed as there was often nobody at the desk. One time I picked up the phone at the desk to call them and nobody answered. Another time they answered, and said they would be there in a few minutes. Seemed overpriced given these critiques. I’ve stayed at many places that were worse, but I likely would drive farther to get to better accommodations if going through the area again… unless the hot tub is what I needed!

This is an old building, and based on my room it was not adequately maintained for a long time. The current operator has wisely prioritized first the updates that travelers care about most: the building exterior, public spaces, and my room's furnishings were up-to-date and tasteful. Staff are competent, polite, professional, and take pride in their work. The bed and all other room furniture were new and comfortable and the room was thoroughly cleaned. However, the cosmetic work doesn't fix every consequence of years of neglect: doors that are difficult to close securely; a very dated security system; non-digital AC/heat that needs repeated fiddling with an unlabeled slider to achieve a preferred room temp; missing ceiling fixtures in the bathroom; bathroom ceiling plaster mildewed, cracked, and falling, with a hole. I would stay here again because my sense is that the operator is working to fix all these things; it just takes time and money. Reasonable people who are looking primarily for clean, comfortable rooms at a reasonable price (and don't have mildew/mold allergies) shouldn't hesitate to stay. There also aren't a ton of better choices in the area. Just be ready to overlook a few warts under the makeup.

Contintal breakfast was very poor, constantly out of what little food they had. I called before hand to find out what they had and none of that was available upon arival. There was no housekeeping to speak of ..we had to keep asking for towels and toilet paper. The lounge chair in the room was all ripped up and the shower curtain stunk very bad. Would not recommend this hotel.

This was a terrible experience. Staff was rude, room was filled with mold, bugs, and the sheets were covered in hair, dirt, and toothpaste (I think/hope). We didn’t stay and are still getting a runaround on a refund. We got a number for the “Regional Manager,” but it ended up being a bogus phone number.

Hallway carpet stained and not vacuumed. Floor by hot tub buckled and soft. Hair on shower walls. Couch worn and stained.
