Wonderful rooms and addiional facilities( shaded pool, bbq area). Short walk to restaurants. Bars and beach at gorgeous horseshoe bay. Bus connecting horeshoe bay to ferry terminal runs past the front of the building. Short bus ride to the start of the famous forts walk. Almost guaranteed to see Koalas in the wild on this stunning walk

True North is a beautiful property. The room was spacious and had everything you could think of for a comfortable stay. The gardens surrounding the balcony and pool are stunning. Everything here is top quality, the bed, linen, towels etc. We really appreciated all these details as well as the stunning breakfast made for us by the amazing owner Deb. We didn't want to leave. Thanks Deb

Deborah was an awesome Host, made me feel so welcome & @ home in their lovely house, which was stunning by the way. My stay had everything I would have wanted, EXTRA clean - tidy - presentable. Loved the swim in really nice saltwater pool. Sooooo enjoyed the breakfast menu and it tasted gr8!! 2, especially the beautiful fresh fruit salad. My bed was oh so comfy. Also I very much appreciated a ride back thanx!! from the local pub. Had such a wonderful stay - ta again, totally recommend you come and luv the holiday feel also, that this magic place has 2 offer :-)

We loved our stay at True North. It was an absolute haven from the heat. We loved cooking dinner in the kitchen and hanging out by the pool. It’s right by the bus stop and a few minutes from Horseshoe Bay. The breakfasts were a highlight - I recommend the pears!

Yummy breakfast and good balcony
Posted 25 Aug 2023 on HotelsGreat place to stay with a lovely breakfast. Good location near the beach, but a little bit away from the main street which suited us well. Everything walkable in Horseshoe Bay and very close to the bus stop which was also useful. Bed was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the private outdoor space provided by the balcony. Good kitchenette as well.

We stayed in a large, quiet room with a private balcony and had an excellent cooked breakfast provided each day. The property is a short walk to the beach and eateries. We highly recommend it for couples. Thank you Debbie and Larry!

Wonderful property and lovely hosts. Perfect place to spend a week relaxing and exploring magnetic island. Very comfortable bed, nice balcony area with chairs and table where you can enjoy the scrumptious breakfast Deborah serves up. We will be back. AAA
