Very dated, but clean.
Posted 15 Aug 2016 on HotelsA very dated motel in need of updates. On the plus side, accommodated our 3 adult, two children situation and was clean and served its purpose. Just don't expect anything that is remotely deluxe - a clean place to lay your head and nice people run it.

Bathroom needs work.

Over-priced for the level of amenities
Posted 3 Aug 2016Small and clean, but not much for the price. Rooms are simple, no ice-bucket or breakfast and the shower is only useful for very short people. The extra $15.00/day charge for a dog was a surprise.

Disappointed and dishonest people

Cons: New owners and a lesson in ethics, they were very rude.

We had a confirmed reservation for the August long weekend, which we booked 2 weeks prior. We showed up and they had resold our room to someone else, for probably triple the price. No other place in town was available, we had to travel 80 kms backwards to find something for the night. I felt more sad for the people in front of us with kids where the staff/owner had done the same. I would never book there again, they are dishonest and cheats.

our room was sold to someone else. we were told our credit card was declined and they left a message on my cell. neither were true.

Lovely people, great hotel. Really super helpful. Right next door to the best milkshakes and burgers ever.

Hotel stay
Posted 23 Jul 2016This was a Great place to stay. Myself and my three kids stayed here and enjoyed it. The Beds were very comfortable with good pillows as well. It was in a Quiet area so we were able to get a great sleep. The bath tubs could be replaced as they had some of the finishing coming off. If you are just showering it was no big deal. Overall the appearance of the room was fine. Keruig in the room for a quick coffee in the morning. The staff was quick and polite. I Would definitely stay here again if I was travelling through the area. Also For anyone playing Pokemon Go there is a Pokestop right outside, beside the parking lot.
