Disappointed after after all my stays with you.
Posted 25 Jul 2023 on HotelsWell it smells musty, an only warm water is shower on cold. Not hot or warm water to wash dishes, really wondered if sheets were washed based on purfume on sheets but, only on certain part.

Cute cabins and very nice bathing rooms at the main lodge (these are 'dry' cabins). Quiet and food options nearby.

The page that I looked at on Travelocity did NOT mention, On the main page, that the cabins didn’t include toilets. As a senior who requires multiple trips to the bathroom each night, this would have been important information to have before deciding to stay there. I thought I was looking at a page for a hotel or resort — not a camping experience.

We are sorry that you were unaware of the shared bathrooms. We do our best to describe the cabins, as we would never want to surprise anyone with that information. We wish you safe travels wherever your adventures take you.

Great cottages with nice scenery. The shared baths were large and clean. The dirty skillet has excellent outdoor seating with gas fire tables. We were fortunate to have live music.

my room didn't lock! the Hobbit cabin keeps in heat and it was cooler outside. Very hot and too hard to sleep.

We are sorry that your room was too hot. The electric fan provided in the room should help on these 70 degree evenings, however there is almost no A/C in Alaska.
We did check your cabin door, and it locks both from the inside with the deadbolt and outside with the key. Those old doors and chains can be a bit tricky, and we wish you would have shared your concerns while you were here as a guest. Safest travels!

The cabin, pond, Jenifer, food, music of live band and
you can go from here to glacier cruse, salmon fishing or mountain.
If there is vacancy, make the reservation.
