Our not so perfect holiday!!
Posted 3 Jan 2022 on HotelsThe location is beautiful and scenery but the cottage itself was too small to accomodate 4 of us. No proper beds just sofa beds which were really a hassle to open and rather uncomfortable.
There is no private bathroom and the toilet and showers are locared separately outside the cottage. Making this very uncomfortable and awkward if one needs to use the bathroom late at night in the cold, rain and snow.
We ended up leaving and didnt make our full stay 😪

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback from your stay with us. We are sorry we did not live up to your expectations. The cottage you made a reservation for is one of four with a shared bathroom. Our other five cottages are bigger and have private bathrooms in the cottage, but are of course priced accordingly. The information that the cottage was 19 sqm, and that there are only bed sofas was clearly stated in the presentation of the cottage on Hotels.com and in our conversation prior to your arrival we informed you that this cottage has a shared bathroom in a separate building. So we are a bit surprised that you commented on that in your review. However, we see now that we need to highlight this more on the booking site so that future guests won't miss this relevant information and make a reservation with proper expectations. So thank you again for bringing this to our attention and we hope you will come back someday and stay in one of our larger cottages :-)

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. We are sorry you missed the information that bedsheets and linens are not included in the price for your stay. Our cottages are equipped with everything you need for a self catered stay. Blankets and pillows are provided and all kitchen utensils you need to cook, drink coffee or barbecue. But as a guest you can choose to bring your own bedsheets and linens and also do the end cleaning after your stay if you wish. In this way we are able to provide cottages for a lower cost for our guests. If you wish, you can rent the bedsheets and linens from us for currently 100 SEK per person. We can also do the end cleaning for 150-800 SEK depending on the size of the cottage.
We have tried to be as clear as the booking channels will allow us to be about all of this to minimize the risk of missunderstanding and the guest dissatisfaction that follows from “unexpected “ extra costs. So we are sorry for your inconvenience as you choose to not stay with us because of the extra costs for the bedsheets for your company. We hope it turned out alright for you anyway. Welcome back another time with your own bedsheets!

Övernattning
Posted 18 Aug 2021 on HotelsVi hade ett litet hus med toa, dusch och kök samt två rum med flera sovplatser, alldeles lagom för 4vuxna och två barn en fin sommardag. Grill fanns vid stugan.
Trevlig mottagning i receptionen med information om området som var överraskande mycket bl.a. möjlighet för bad och fiske samt matning av gårdens djur på morgonen. Mycket nöjd.
