The room was ok but the hotel is overpriced there is no maid service if you stay over 7 days you can arrange a maid one time . You need to take out your own trash if you want fresh towels you have to go down and get them , there is no pool I had a room on the 2nd floor looking over a noisy open air cafe the smell of food is not what you need . I paid £1400 for a ten day stay I have been to Hawaii 41 times this isn’t value for money in the second part of my trip I stayed down the street it had a pool and I got a Deluxe Suite on the 15th floor ( it has 9nd floor above the view was fabulous they even provide a Continental Breakfast and the big thing is this hotel is Chester the one where I got nothing

This is a great value in the center of Waikiki and one of the few with no resort fees. The staff is courteous and helpful. There are amenities (chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas) so no need to buy or rent them. They have washers and dryers available. The room was neat, the bed was comfortable. You won't need a pool because you are literally two short blocks from the beach. No need for a car unless you're going out of the area, but for Honolulu, and Diamond Head there are shuttles, bike rentals, and car shares available. I'm very happy with my experience. It is noisy, because it's Waikiki, but if you close the windows, that helps dampen a lot of the sound.

The staff was friendly and 2 mins walk to the Waikiki Beach. That was the best part for my kids. We missed our flight so I called the hotel to let them know and they changed my check in and check out date. That's was so awesome of them. They made me and my kids mini vacay the best! I would definitely bring my kids back there again and always.
