We stayed at the Royal Kuhio the first week of June. I would say the place was ok to maybe good. Anyone staying here must keep in mind this is not a hotel your kinda on your own taking care of your room keeping it clean throughout your stay. Things we liked about the condo were the full kitchen it provided great opportunities for savings go to Costco or Walmart and stock up on food. The parking was also really really nice and easy for the location and it is a quick walk to the beach, shopping and dining. The bad this place is under construction right now and the property condition is not that good. As others have described there is bugs and insects crawling around the room, we’ve stayed in many 3rd world guest houses so it didn’t bother us but be prepared if you stay here. The bed was not that comfortable I hurt every night sleeping.
All in all I would give this place an ok score, it’s Hawaii and was our first trip here. It was a place to stay, shower and cook which let us do a lot of fun things on the island.

We stayed at the Royal Kuhio for 10 days. Room was clean, kitchen was fully stocked with kitchen supplies. We were able to cook many meals in the kitchen and Beds were comfy. Staff were kind and helpful! They are located in the perfect location as well! Walking distance to wakiki beach, Royal Hawaiian center, international market, and many dining and shopping areas. We enjoyed our stay, and would come again!

A Nice place that is surrounded by shops, restaurants, and the beach. Also both the zoo and aquarium is only an 20-30 min walk.

The hotel and room are very dated. We found mold in the shower and were disappointed with the state of the sofa bed which was very uncomfortable. The room also had some dead bugs and an unfortunate smell.

The property was very clean and had been upgraded. There was a bus stop right outside the entrance but it was only a ten minute walk to Waikiki beach and there were many restaurants and shops within a five minute or less walk.
