If I could give this property negative stars I would. I don’t see how this slum is operating. Simply taking advantage of tourists with false advertisement. I have never stayed in such a place. Even Motel 6 is a few grades better than this. I would not recommend this hotel even in your most desperate situation. There was no running hot water in the bathroom sink. The telephone looked as old as me and didn’t have a dial tone so I guess it was merely for “looks”. The walls were peeling and the painted over visible mold on the ceiling, and had some type of pipe protruding from the wall in the bathroom dripping drops of water in the sink.

We are absolutely shocked by the state of the hotel; the photos on the website do not match reality. There are cockroaches in the rooms. The windows have no glass—just plastic blinds—so it feels like you are sitting outside. It is impossible to fall asleep before midnight. The rooms are very dirty; we do not recommend it. The only upside is that the ocean is very close by.

Location of the hotel was amazing. Staff was friendly and accommodating to needs. Air conditioning worked well. Use of laundry was perfect for my stay. Rooms could have been a little cleaner upon arrival, and the screens in the room were torn, staff was notified. I found the bed to be comfortable. The tv worked which included cable. There were a few bugs in the room and they were addressed to staff. It’s an older building but it’s a great price and no resort fees. My room had a refrigerator, working stove and oven, sink, dishes and silverware. They will supply fresh towels upon request and honor your privacy if requested; no cleaning during your stay if requested. They do hold a $100 deposit at check-in, but it was promptly released a few hours after check-out. They will hold your luggage at check-out, which is really nice if you don’t fly out until later in the day. I would stay there again. I stayed for 7 nights. It’s family-owned. I like to support the locals if I can. I’m the type of guy that doesn’t need/require anything fancy with all the amenities so it was perfect for me. Just be warned, they do not have coffee in the lobby, but the room does have a very small coffee pot. I recommend walking a block to McDonalds for your coffee, that’s what I did, no complaints there either. Good luck, enjoy your stay in Waikiki, it’s absolutely beautiful there.

The Little Pink in Waikiki is one of my favorites.. Older propery with true Local charm ...not a polished Corporate overpriced monstrosity..very comfortable with all amenities you need and location, location Plus plus...1.5 blocks from the best Surf shop and breakfast in Waikiki..2.5 blocks to Putting your feet in the water 🌊

立地は良いです。 人気のお店「まぐろスポット」の有る建物でした。 ただ、とても古いホテルなので、全てが古くて フルキッチンと言っても使う気がしませんし、 お鍋とお皿を良く洗ってつかいましたが、 お湯を沸かすだけでした。 コーヒーメーカーが有りましたが、コーヒーの 提供はありませんでした。 スタッフの感じは良くて、タオルは毎日新しいのを もらいました。

DISGUSTING!! TERRIBLE SERVICE! DO NOT BOOK HERE THE PHOTOS ARE DECEPTIVE! This was like a prison but worse. Bugs in the bathtub, everything was dirty it’s very unsafe. Staff is awful and good luck getting your money back!

If you are looking for an affordable place to stay in Waikiki, look no further! It’s close to the beach and has a bar on-site. There’s also a karaoke bar that was still thriving well after 10:00 p.m. The rooms are small but cozy, and honestly, that’s all you need if you are planning to spend most of your time out exploring and enjoying Oahu. Great location, good atmosphere, and a budget-friendly option for a Waikiki stay.

The inner hallways to the elevator give shady back alley feelings. It’s floor is broken concrete, the hallway is poorly and dimly lit. There are side doors/closets made of plywood and basic latches. In our room- the master bedroom had a plywood wall by the door way- but this time painted- with a latch and hinges- if you unlatched the wall your wall opened into the the outer walkways that guests use to get to their room. The door ways in to the room had a gap on the bottom of the door when closed that was two inches high- so anything that tall could come right in to our room. Room door could only be locked from inside the room. We did have roaches in our unit- both dead and alive. We didn’t see bed bugs but we did see little black dots in the bedding and furniture. Due to us being unsure about bed bugs and discusted about the roaches- we left and stayed the rest of our trip at another hotel. The Royal Grove was just bad. The staff and loitering random shady folks around the building seemed to have some kind of point of interest in one of the rooms as many were in and out and it felt shady and like they didn’t like that we noticed. We didn’t have high expectations- it’s rated 3.5 stars. I’m used to budget hotels. I would have been fine with motel 8 quality. A pest free, clean, and safe room was the minimum expectation- they did not meet that. 1.5-2 stars, tops.
